On Saturday, June 8th, at UFC 238 in Chicago, Henry Cejudo became the fourth fighter in UFC history to claim two world titles simultaneously when he finished Marlon Moraes by third-round TKO to become bantamweight champion in addition to his continuing reign as flyweight champion. He is the first to accomplish this and hold an Olympic Gold Medal.
Henry put on an amazing performance in Chicago. Coming back from a bad first round, the Olympic gold medalist switched up strategies and put the pressure on, getting past Marlon Moraes’ leg kicks and unloading with a barrage of punches. A fight some thought Henry was going to lose in the first turned into one he won with just 9 seconds left in the third. This puts him in the conversation as to who is the pound for pound greatest mix martial artist of all time.
The NF1 team congratulated a battle worn Henry and he thanked us and credited our work with him as a key to victory. Congratulations again Henry Cejudo and we look forward to our continued journey and success together!
