How To Use The Routines

NF1 routines are the cornerstone of personalized training, designed to help you achieve your goals and unlock your peak performance. With over 300 custom routines created by our expert NF1 training staff—trusted by professional athletes and Olympic champions—we ensure there’s something for everyone. Whether you’re a beginner taking your first steps in fitness or an elite athlete pushing your limits, our routines cater to every level and objective, from mobility and strength to endurance and power. Plus, you have the flexibility to build your own routine, making your training as unique as your goals. Selecting the right routine is key to optimizing your progress, ensuring each workout is tailored to your needs, and helping you reach your full potential.

launch the NF1 app on your device.
If your already logged in, tap the Fitness icon in the bottom navigation bar (represented by a person running).

Next you will be presented with a screen showing the different options available including “Programs“, “Movements“, “Routines”, “Assigned Activity”, “Record Activity”, “AI Trainer”.

 

  • From there, select “Routines”.

Set Your Preferences

  • Choose your Objectives
    For the best results, select no more than 2 objectives.
  • Select your Target Muscle Groups
    Avoid selecting more than 2 muscle groups for focused results.


If you know the name of the routine you are looking for,  use the Search Bar at the top.

Additional Filtering Options

Scroll down to access additional filtering options:

Equipment & Goals Filter: Use this switch to display routines tailored to the equipment and goals saved in your profile.

Sports-Specific Filter: Toggle this switch to view routines designed for specific sports.

My Routines Filter: Use this switch to see only the routines you’ve created.

Routine List

Once you’ve set your preferences, press Search button at the bottom of the screen. In a few seconds, you’ll receive a list of routines that match your criteria.

Select and Preview a Routine

Tap on a routine to view its details. When opening a routine, you’ll see your Current Readiness Score along with two options:

  • Accept Readiness: Automatically adjusts sets, reps, and load based on your current ability to train.
  • Skip Readiness: The routine will proceed as if you are 100% ready to train.

After selecting your readiness preference, you’ll be able to preview the routine’s details.

Start Your Routine

Once you’re ready, tap Start to begin your workout.
